For years, small training companies have faced the same choice.

Pay a web designer hundreds of pounds for a website. Or spend your evenings and weekends building one yourself.

Either way, the website is only half the job. The moment you add a course, change a price or move a date, someone has to go back into the website and update it. Then update it again next month.

• Easy to customise. Change the text, images and layout yourself in the built-in editor, add your own pages, and use your logo, colours and font. There are millions of stock images to choose from.
• Built on good search engine foundations. Fast, mobile-friendly pages with the technical basics that search engines look for. We can’t promise rankings, nobody honestly can, but your site starts with solid foundations.
• Your own domain. Use your own web address, or start on a certslate.com address. We help with the full set up.
• A contact form included. Enquiries arrive in CertSlate and in your inbox.

The best part: it stays up to date by itself

This is the part we are most pleased with.

Your website is connected to CertSlate, so your courses on the site are your courses in CertSlate. Change a course, a price or a date there, and your website updates automatically. There is nothing to copy across and nothing to log in to twice.

Switch a course on and it gets its own page, with its upcoming dates and a Book button. Switch it off and it disappears from the site.

No more out-of-date course pages. No more “sorry, that date has gone”.

Take bookings straight from your website

Visitors can book your open sessions directly from your website, with a secure checkout powered by Stripe. The booking lands in CertSlate alongside everything else, so there is nothing to retype.

Online payments run through Stripe Connect, so Stripe Connect terms apply. Stripe’s standard processing fees apply, plus a CertSlate administration fee of £1 per transaction. Online payments are currently in beta.

How to get it

The website is included with every Pro plan as a special offer on this new feature. If you sign up while the offer is on, it stays included in your plan. We plan to charge from £29 a month for it once the offer ends.
