Generic CRM software was not built for how training companies work
A generic CRM is built around sales pipelines: leads, deals, contacts, and calls. A training provider's relationship with a client is fundamentally different. You need to track which staff have been trained, when their certificates expire, what courses they have booked, what feedback they have given, and what renewals are coming up.
None of that maps cleanly onto a standard CRM. Training companies end up with a CRM for contact management, a spreadsheet for training records, a separate tool for certificates, and email for everything else. Every client interaction spans multiple systems.
CertSlate was designed around how training companies actually manage clients. The client record is the centre of everything: their staff, their training history, their upcoming sessions, their certificates, their invoices and their feedback all live together.
